Participation Terms – Summary (Workshop Programming)

By submitting this form and participating in ImprovCon programming, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Independent Contractor (Revenue Share) or (Free) Volunteer Status

Workshop Programming Facilitators appear at ImprovCon as independent contractors or volunteers, not as employees, agents, or representatives of ImprovCon. Participation does not create an employment relationship, and no wages, benefits, workers' compensation, or unemployment insurance are provided. Participants are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and expenses.

Intellectual Property

Participants retain full ownership of their original material, teaching content, and performances. Nothing submitted or presented is considered a work-for-hire.

Media & Promotional Rights

Participants grant ImprovCon permission to use their name, likeness, approved photos, and brief excerpts of performances, workshops, or panels for event-related marketing, documentation, and recap purposes, before, during, and after the convention. Use will not be misleading or unrelated to ImprovCon.

Professional Standards

Participants agree to comply with ImprovCon's Code of Conduct and event policies. Failure to do so may result in removal from programming.
